animals and a dragon readings

We invite kids 5-12 to sign up for the summer reading program. Every week you can take part in crafts, activities, reading challenges and more with our take home kit.

This summer we challenge you to read 500 minutes and have 2 great prizes to reward those who complete the goal. You can register online here, in person, or call 780 853 4288.

How it Works

Program Details: After signing up you can pick up a home program kit with everything you need. There are 3 components to the reading program: The reading challenge, crafts, and additional online content.

Reading Challenge: Track your reading on the bookmarks in your program kit. Let the library know once you've read both 250 and 500 minutes and we'll award you your prizes. We won't need to see your bookmarks - we take your word regarding minutes read.

Crafts: You can follow along with us every week through the summer as we do a new craft. All the supplies needed to do the crafts along with instructions are in your program kit. We will post a new video every week showing how to do the craft.

Online Content: Follow us on facebook and our website for online content we will be sharing throughout the summer like stories, film shorts, and new books. If you're looking for more fun check out the TD Summer Reading Club. Register here for this free program, the platform includes access to eBooks you can read at any time, author/illustrator readings & workshops, and more interactive content.
