The annual Matheu Da Costa Challenge is sponsored by Canada's Department of Citizenship and Immigration, and is designed to encourage children and youth to create works of art or language that express Canadian values, diversity and multiculturalism. This year's grand prize is a trip to Ottawa, and other prizes are available. See their website for many more details, including who Mathieu Da Costa was!
