Internet Applications Course
This is a five week course including Kijiji, Facebook, Photoshop Express and backing up your computer. Tuesdays 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Starting Feb 11 to March 11. Please pre-register; space is limited. Cost $50.
Knitting for Beginners
This course is intended for those just starting out in knitting, and will include casting on procedures and simple stitches. A starter kit will include the needles and wool required for a simple project. Ages 10 and up. The course will run for 4 Thursdays starting February 6th, and the time will be 4:00 to 5:00pm or 7:00 to 8:00pm depending on interest. Pre-registration is required, $12 is due upon registration. Space is limited.
We are collecting store bought or handmade mitts, scarves and hats to decorate our mitten tree. All items will then be donated to Santa Anonymous who will distribute them to children in need. Pickup date is December 18th. Thank you for your contributions.
Travelling Art Display - Trace: Reflections on Landscape
For the month of November we will be displaying a travelling exhibition developed by the Alberta Society of Artists for the Alberta Foundation of the Arts. It features three artists with three different techniques: printmaking, photography, and improvisational drawing. Computers for Novices CANCELLED
We will be starting a new computers for novices class on November 6th at 2:00 pm. This is a five week introductory course that will cover Windows, word processing, e-mail and the internet. This is a limited enrolment course so please pre-register. Cost $30.
