New Magazine Subscriptions
We are starting to receive and circulate our new subscriptions from the J.R. Robson subscription drive. New magazines include (but are not limited to) Wired, Cardmaker and the Pacific and Prairie Horse Journal.

For those teenagers who can't get enough vampires, demons and dark secrets, the Santa Clara County Library has put together a nice list of read-alikes. With the exception of The Silver Kiss, all are available on TRACpac - just a click away!
Children's Valentine's Party
Mark you calendar for our Children's Valentine's Party on Friday, February 13th at 10:30 am. Children from 0-10 years old (approximately) are invited to be entertained by our special guest from Kitscoty. Deseri Adrian specializes in ventriloquism, puppetry and balloon animals, so plan for a morning of laughs! Kids will also make a craft to match the show. Cost is $2 per child. Pre-registration is preferred to help us in our plannnig :) Children three and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Beat the Winter Blues at the Library
Our line-up of winter programs and events are set to keep you from going stir-crazy! The Genealogy Interest Group continues to meet on the second Thursday of the month. Bring you knitting or crocheting for Knit Wit, an afternoon of camaraderie, beginning Wednesday, January 14th. Our puzzle table is set up for people of all ages to work on. Creative Kids Read On
The annual Mathieu da Costa Challenge is on once again. Write a piece of prose or use your artistic talent to create a piece of work which celebrates how cultural diversity has shaped Canada. The winners of each category will be “goin’ to Winnipeg”! (All expenses paid, of course!)
Do A Puzzle at the Library
Come in from the cold and get cozy at our puzzle table beginning January 8th! People of all ages are welcome to contribute to our 1000 piece picture.
