Our Aboriginal People

Come and browse our new display featuring books, facts, a quiz, and artifacts on our aboriginal people. This ties in with our Science Alberta exhibit which runs from May 27th through June 6th and features “Colour in our World” from an aboriginal perspective. Thanks to the Vermilion Heritage Museum for donating the artifacts and prints.

Book a Library Tour!

Combine language arts, science and social studies in a lesson about our First Nations people. Join us between Tuesday, May 27th to Tuesday, June 10th to learn about colour in an aboriginal talking circle! We’ve just added two new magazine subscriptions to our juvenile/young adult collection. Sports Illustrated Kids is for kids who love sports. The magazine includes action photos, easy-to-read stories about star athletes, helpful instructional tips from the pros, and humor, comics, and activities.
