Library Programs

The library offers a wide variety of programs, information sessions and events throughout the year. Our aim is to provide programs that serve informational and leisure needs in Vermilion. Sept.19-23 Scrabble Challenge The Librarians challenge you to a giant game of scrabble.
Oct.10-14 Fall Book Donation Week Library will be accepting donated books.
Oct.14 Storytime Event: Fire Safety For those 5-11,Preregistration appreciated.
Oct.17-21 Quick Craft Cart: Mix & Match Pumpkin Patch Halloween crafts

Nov.17 Storytime Event: Preschool & Seniors Christmas Join us at the Senior's Centre for storytime. Preregistration appreciated.
Nov.18 Old Fashion Christmas Crafts Family Event Christmas crafts for the whole family.
Nov.28-Dec.16 Mitten Tree Drop off winter gloves, hats & other apparel for the mitten tree. Contents to go to Santa's Anonymous Vermilion
Dec. 5 Yuletide Cheer Join us at the library for free coffee, baked goods and Christmas cheer in appreciation of all that support the library

Drop in Knit & Crochet Need some knitting or crochet help? Drop in and ask an expert.
Oct.18-Nov.5 5-6pm Knit a Kitty Ages 8-11, Please preregister spaces are limited. $5 for supplies
Sept.28, Oct.26, Nov. 30  On the Screen Join us for a stream of a National Film Board of Canada movie of the month. Serving free Popcorn and refreshments.
